At The Bicycle Works we offer a wide range of repairs for your bike,

from a puncture repair to fitting a new drive chain.

These services are for labour only and parts will be charged on top.

Wheels

Puncture repair - £10 - includes a new standard inner tube

Fit new tyre - £10 (tyre supplied by customer)

Tubeless set up - £20 per wheel (tape, sealant and valves not included)

Wheel hub service - from £20 a wheel, £35 a pair

We will re-grease and adjust cup and cone style hubs,

remove and fit new bearings to hubs with sealed bearings

(bearings not included).

Chains

Fit new chain - from £15

We remove the old chain, adjust the new chain to the correct length,

fit, check and adjust gear indexing (the cost of the new chain not included).

Gears

Gear cable replacement - from £20

Remove old cables from your bike and replace with new, these

will be cut to size. The gears will be re-adjusted and indexed to work correctly.

We will report back if we discover that other parts are worn meaning that the gears won't index correctly.

(The cost of the cables are not included).

Brakes

Brake service - £25 (£35 a pair)

Check and examine pads/cables/calipers for wear and replace as necessary.

Lubricate pivot points and adjust brakes for optimum performance

Hydraulic Brake Service - £25 (£40 per pair)

We check pads for wear and replace if necessary.

Bleed system with appropriate fluid and set pads / calipers for optimum performance.

We will report back if we discover sticking pistons which may require

extra work and possibly parts.

Suspension

Suspension component servicing would involve the removal

of forks or rear shocks and sending to our chosen specialist.

Pivot operation checked and reported.

Bearings can be replaced if required, please contact us for a quote.
